How do you make objects in the sims 2 not fade when sims are close to them?

Question by : How do you make objects in the sims 2 not fade when sims are close to them?
Is there any way you can turn off fading objects in the sims 2??
Everytime i zoom in on something it fades :S it’s really anoyying because i want to make movies, i know u can turn it off, i’ve seen movies made with sims 2 where objects dont fade!!
Please help!!

The easy way: Press the tab button. Press tab again when you’re finished, and you’ll go back to normal camera mode.

The harder way but one that doesn’t involve you having to hit tab all the time: open Livecameras.txt and set objectFadeDistance to 0.

You will find Livecameras.txt here: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Cameras

Mine reads: setparam objectFadeDistance 10

This is what you have to change to 0
