Adobe audition can record directly from whatever is playing through your speakers. Also check if Mac’s have a built in sound recorder. These work the same way they record what is playing through the speakers. If it does just record the sample as a WAV. or similar and then import into pro tools. Other than that a dodgy way is to hold a microphone up to some speakers while the DVD is playing and record directly into pro tools. It will probably not sound the greatest but it could have a cool effect with the music ur making which im guessing is electronic. 🙂
