How to uninstall graphics drivers when I no longer own the card?
Question by Nic.: How to uninstall graphics drivers when I no longer own the card?
Hey I just recently upgraded my graphics card. I forgot to uninstall the drivers from the old card, so now when I plug in my new card, there’s no signal to it, Windows just defaults to the other card. I was wondering if there’s a way to overcome this problem. I know that I should plug in the old card, but the thing is I sold the old card to someone over eBay before even plugging in my new card (stupid mistake, I know).
All I can think of is using the keyboard to navigate into control panel and uninstall them “blindly”. But how would I know what buttons to press? If anybody has a script I could run in command prompt or something, that would be absolutely wonderful.
Or if I had to reformat Windows, how can I do this without any display signal?

If you want to try to uninstall the drivers, keep hitting F8 when you boot up the pc until you see the OS choice menu. Select “Safe Mode” and try uninstalling from safe mode.
