i dont know abt animation softwares and not any thing abt animation well……… but i have to make a animation movie for 5to 10minutes pls tell me wht can i do ….. and wht software i need……??????with in 7 days i have to do !!!!!!!!!

There’s probably better software out there but JASC do a program called animation shop which is bundled with paint shop pro

I did a little animation with this (no previous experience) you can see it on my myspace page (look for the Matrix Lobby Scene video) The last few seconds I superimposed my daughter in the lobby scene. To do it I had to cut and paste from one video to the other frame by frame.

You need to build the video frame by frame, typically you do 24 frames per second, so 24 pictures equals 1 second of film. So you do drawings or clay models or whatever, and each picture is just slightly different from the last. So for a 10 minute movie you are looking at 10 minutes x 60 seconds X 24 frames = 14,400 frames. So if you have 7 days you may want to keep it fairly simple.

Stop motion may be a good option, that’s where you set up your scene, take a picture, move it a bit, take a picture, move it a bit, take a picture, etc etc etc. There are some really good examples with Lego on you tube, just search Lego stop motion.
