Hello,
Does anybody know about this independent movie that’s about a hermit writer? I believe the movie is a documentary. It only came out a few years ago, say three or four years ago. In the preview you see several people who make commentaries about who he was. Also, part of the preview would show some paintings coming to life as if the writer would see this happening in the painting. Thanks for your help. I’ve been looking for this movie for awhile.

Perhaps you are thinking about Henry Darger. PBS did a documentary called “In The Realms Of The Unreal”. Definitely an odd guy and a hermit.He wrote one book “The Story of the Vivian Girls, in What is known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion” , HD did paintings that correlates with the book. He remained virtually unknown until after his death, when his “art” and book were discovered by the janitor or something.
