This is the famous hollywood hill — obviously it is hollywood hill. Find a good vantage point if you visit Hollywood. The vantage point where this shot was taken was miles away from the hill (See previous photo). Thanks to the camera zoom, with a little help from a tele-converter — this shot is as close as it should be. Mirage and smog somehow makes it a little blurry, but its close enough.

Each letter of this sign is about 45ft high, located at Mt. Lee, facing south. This is one of the most photographed area in Los Angeles(if not, the most photographed). This view was made possible due to the zoom lens of the camera. But there are other vantage points — closer to it. This was viewed from Hollywood and Highland Center, considerably far, but one can go to the Hollywood Lake, which is a better view, or Gower Boulevard or Beachwood Canyon. If you don’t have an ultra zoom camera, and you want this photography, it is recommended that you go to Hollywood Lake.
