I want to use some video game soundtrack music in my movie. But I will be making a profit off the movie. I was thinking that at the end I could write “music heard from todays movie is available on the Modern Warfare 2 soundtrack”

Yes, since you did buy it off a legitimate source (iTunes), you do obtain a right to use it. However, you should get personal permission from Apple just in case, so contact them and see.
