Question by repentant sinner: is it really necessary to drink the blood of your first hunting kill?
I am getting ready to start deer hunting next season and this tradition is really freaking me out. Will the guides “make” me drink or smear the blood on my face?

Or is this some movie/internet rumor I’m buying into?

You will not have to do anything that you do not want to do.

You are paying the guides, they want your experience to be a pleasant one so that you will return and pay them again.
