Is there REALLY an organized formal boycott of the movie “Expelled”?
Question by queenthesbian: Is there REALLY an organized formal boycott of the movie “Expelled”?
. . .or is this just another false rumour being perpetrated by people with an agenda. I did a quick google search and found nothing about a boycott, except what has been posted here on answers.
I DID hear about some people trying to “sneak in” to the preview, but being thrown out. I think sneaking into a movie is vastly different from boycotting it. I think making an individual decision to not see a movie is different than a boycott. I think expressing a critical opinion about a movie is different than a boycott.
Can someone please post me a link to an article from a credible news source that shows a FORMAL boycott of the movie “Expelled” organized by atheists ?
Also, since Christian groups regularly organize formal boycotts and book burnings of such things as “Harry Potter” “The Golden Compass” and “The DaVinci Code” why should they be upset when someone organizes boycotts of their favorite films, OR why would they make up a lie about an atheist boycott if none existed ?

No, I can’t. I haven’t heard of any boycott either.
However, for a critique of the movie, here’s a good link:
