Question by iVahmpiire: Is this not a good idea when making a short movie?
Like having parts where the camera is the victims eyes and having some parts where the victim is showing. So kind of like having the camera see the manipulator but then suddenly a shot from a different angle showing the victim and the manipulator. Sorry if I’m confusing you but like having shots as a first person and the third person would it confuse the audience? I have a basic idea of how I’m going to do that, but would it make sense. Or would it look unprofessional?
And another question, how do you show someone waking up. Like if the charcters eyes is the camera, how can I make it tell the victim is waking up?

What you are talking about is called POV (Point of View). It is usually established by being positioned between a shot of a character looking at something, and a shot showing the character’s reaction.
As far as waking up, you might show a close up of the eyes or eye opening then show a POV shot. Another technique would be a POV shot with a slow fade in from black to minic the person waking up. Watch the movie Robo Cop. They show him becoming sentient using a bunch of different techniques.
