Katy Perry & 3OH!3 Starstrukk
Twitter.com – Follow Us! We’ve got more new music–it’s the collabo that everyone’s talking about-Katy Perry and 3oh!3. The scoop on their new music video is up next! Hey guys-Joslyn Davis here in our Beverly Hills studio with more ClevverTV music news. Katy Perry and 3oh!3 are teaming up to bring us a freshly remixed version of 3oh!3’s single “Starstrukk.” Katy first met and became friends the guys few years back on the Vans Warped Tour. So when they asked her to make an appearance on their song, it seemed like a no-brainer. And now the music video for the track is making waves-featuring Miss Perry in a super skimpy leopard print dress and all three of them frolicking in a fountain. If you’re at all familiar with 3Oh!3 or Katy Perry, I’m sure you’ll imagine that the vid is totally hilarious-and if that’s what you’re thinking, well you’re right on. “Starstrukk” will be a featured track on the upcoming Kristen Bell/Josh Duhamel romantic comedy, “When In Rome.” So the video is basically playing homage to the whole idea of the film and the fountain in the Italian city. Katy was excited to work with her old friends-and said that it’s been really cool to kind of break out at the same time as 3oh!3, and she’s enjoyed seeing their explosion onto the music scene. So guys, if you’re looking for the perfect party hit for this fall-look no further-I think “Starstrukk” is the way to go. Let me know if you agree in the comments section, or if you think you have a better pick, well …

This video is owned by Vincent Laforet. The song is Heaven Hammer (Missing air Remix) by Beck. Vincent Laforet: “Here is a first look at the Jamie OBrien project. This is a reel of some of the best shots from the 3 week project. I would like to point out that this first look does not reflect our ultimate goal of producing a more in depth documentary that includes interviews with Jamie and other influential members of the surfing community. One of the reasons that its taken me this long to get this short cut up on the blog is that weve been working on the two cuts simultaneously. My goal all along has been to NOT make yet another surf film as those have already been made and made very well by some incredibly talented filmmakers – and shot over a much longer period of time where budgets and time allow the filmmakers to wait for the perfect conditions / swell. During the 3 weeks in Hawaii – we probably saw 5 days of sun, and 2-3 days of decent (but relatively small) waves. I was well aware of some of these challenges (weather is always a huge factor when shooting in the winter months in Hawaii) and made a point from the beginning to draw upon my experience as a photojournalist to work towards producing a different type of film. I hope to be able to share that with you at some point in the upcoming months. For now I hope youll enjoy this first look. I look forward to getting back to writing more regularly on this blog now that this cut is done. A huge thanks goes out to all …
