Scotty McCreery seems a lock for American Idol’ — maybe
There are five contestants left on “American Idol,” and four of them are competing to be runner-up to Scotty McCreery. The 17-year-old country crooner from Garner, N.C., is tracking to win this season of “Idol,” which has weathered the loss of Simon Cowell and has remained America’s No. 1 television program. Part of that is due to a solid crop of contestants, led by McCreery.
