Praise from David Jason and six awards for Rochdale film man
A producer from Rochdale has won six awards at a top European film festival for a short movie he made with Sir David Jason. Shane Hamill, 39, who grew up on Red Lane, Hamer, achieved the clean sweep at the Monaco International Film Festival for All The Way Up – the first film to be directed by Only Fools and Horses legend Sir David.
