how ‘i’ make ‘beet’ + general production info, there are more efficient ways to do this (overdub, disolve/explode midi and so on) but this method works on almost any system hardware or software. this method allows me to make music on almost any system with minimal know how of how the system specificly works (ovcourse its better to lern everything about your workstation but somtimes when lerning a new workstation or in a studio were there running a workstation you are not familular with then this methos will still let you make music as it is more dependant on your keyboard/drumpad skills then it is your skills/know how of the workstation) being more experienced with ableton now i have developed several methods that are ableton specific which involve a continuous workflow where i never stop playing the track (looped in differnt parts) untill it is finished (including mixing) and everything is midi assigned (meaning i work from my keyboards/controlers and drumpad and never use the mouse giving my music making experience in ableton a MUCH more ‘musican like’ experience.
