I’m attempting on making a short little movie with my built web cam on my Sony VAIO notebook. Has anybody had any experience with this and does anybody know how to save the videos that you make from the monitor section of the Sony VAIO with the built-in web cam? I need a place to save them so I can open them up in an editing program in order to edit them, but if I can’t find the files I can’t edit them because I can’t open them! Please help me…

If you’re using a sony vaio it most likely comes with windows. At this, windows movie maker program would be great for your efforts at making a movie with the notebook. You’d open the window movie maker software, if you don’t have it it can be downloaded free, and surf to the “capture video”. Then all you have to do is click it and it will start recording. You could then start recording do your little act and stop recording that clip so that you might edit out the bits you don’t want between scenes. This can be done and you should do it. Good luck.
