HI! I’m making a DVD slideshow for a friend for their graduation open house. I have a question for everyone who has a Mac. I have 130 pictures to go into the slideshow, and some music to play behind it. Would it be better to use iMovie or iDVD to make the DVD? I was watching some tutorials on Apple’s website, and I see that you can make the movie in iMovie and then put it into iDVD, but also saw that you can use iDVD to make a DVD by just inserting pictures. I’ve never used either program, having learned to use Windows Movie Maker, so I would definitely appreciate any advice from people with more experience :D. Thanks!

It depends on how sophisticated you want to make it. If you want to add more effects and do more editing use iMovie. If not iDVD should be fine.
