Making friends at camp ?

Question by October<3: Making friends at camp ?
So starting July 5th i’m going to be going to summer camp at the YMCA. I’m pretty excited because both my mom and I want me to make some new friends :).
I am a pretty nice person. But I am also really shy when it comes to people I’ve never met before.
Like what if they are in there stupid little clicks -___-
So, how should I make friends and become better acquainted ?
And I want it to become one of those friendships where it’s really close and doesn’t just stop at camp. Like maybe going to the movies and that type of stuff.
