I took videos on my digital camera and need to make a video with them. Windows movie maker is saying it isn’t compatible with my format of videos. What is a good program (free) to get off the internet?

Have you tried converting the format to one that suits Windows Movie Maker?
Perhaps MediaCoder or SUPER. Just search them in google.
Finding a free editor is hard. However Sony Vegas is very cheap and is excellent.
