Anyone know of a good website that explains a bunch of movie tricks? I’m particularly looking for a good way to make a non-smoking actor appear to be smoking without using an actual cigarette.

One trick is to play with it, but never smoke it. They can put it in their mouth and never suck on it. They can also use fake cigarettes/cigars, which are especially useful if you want to maintain the same length.
