Q&A: Apple iMac G5 Software?

I’m planning on buying a g5 imac. Is it that big of a deal if it doesn’t have iLife 08 and Leopard if i stick with Tiger and iLife 06? Let me tell what im going to use it for, Web browsing, word documents, maybe make a movie or two but not primarily and maybe fiddle around with the ilife software a little. Also i will not be storing digital pictures on it so idk if that makes a difference? Just tell me your opinion. Thanks.

I had iLife 06 and it worked for what I wanted to do.
iLife 08 will give you the latest iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb
iLife 06 should be OK for what you need to do
