Question by 〤: Are christians generous?
The bible script about possession..?
Christians do not have wealth (or do not require it)
In Matthew 6:19-21, Jesus tells his followers to give up on possessions:
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
In Matthew 19:21 Jesus says:
“If you want to be ****perfect****, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
do modern christians sell their possessions and give to the poor??
isnt that confusing>>?? I MEAN IF WE GIVE TO THE POOR AND WE BECOME POOR.
ITS ENDLESS. THE RICH GIVE TO THE POOR… THE POOR BECOMES RICH.. AND THE RICH DOES IT OVER AGAIN.
Who the ***** would do that.?? all physical possession are to be given away to inherit life in heaven ….
and for the substitute method you would give away 10% of your earnings in the offering plate in church ????
*a true Christian is a perfect christian.
*we cant be humble… by living cheap.. we must give *all* says the bible
*sometimes even when he give to the poor the poor does not appreciate the giver. not even by saying a thank you.
*supposely you ask a christian for 50 dollars or their whole wallet. what are the chances of them giving it too you?? : )

All religious people tend to be generous, from what I have seen the most generous are the Sikhs and Parsee, you will never see one of them in poverty.. they take care of their own… Muslims are charitable because they are told to do so by their religion, they have to give at least 2.5% of their total savings annually to needy people as religious service called Zakat. Christians are very generous in supporting local and international Missionaries to help the poor.
