I like to make film montages by putting clips from movies/shows to background music. I’m wondering what video editing software is best suited for this kind of job. Here’s an example of the kinds of effects I’d like to be able to achieve: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxY3nzxG1jA.
I’m on a Mac but I heard Final Cut Express is a little tedious to learn/use. I’m also looking into Adobe Premiere Elements or Sony Vegas to run from a virtual PC on my Mac…

You need a good video editor!
