Question by : Camera help and video editing???
Alright, someone help me out. I skate, and I kind of want to make videos with a hd camera.
Something like an canon t2i or whatever? Someone tell me all the basics and shit about cameras, and whether I should get the Canon t2i or some other camera? also recomended fish eyes, and a good video editing system? Right now I just use a flip camera and I movie, and I already got iMovie on lock, and I kind of want more options. Thanks c:

I have a Canon T3i (the model up). It is a really, really, really good camera. However it comes at a price. Like a $ 1000 dollar price. You can get sweet fisheye lenses, but if I was gonna do fisheye I’d do it in my editing program. It films true full hd video, it is very easy to operate, and comes with a lot of stuff. But flip cameras are still good! You can still add the fisheye effect in the editing program.
Generally the more you pay for a camera the better camera you’re getting. So I’ll recommend the canon t2/3i for a good camera, but if you’re doing a skating montage you might want to get something a little bit cheaper in case you drop it.
Sanyo Xacti: full hd camera, av output and .mov files. Files work in imovie. (under 100$ )
Lumix: as above, but not full hd. still hd. (249$ for a shockproof one) (159$ regular)
Kodak Playsport around 100 bucks. very durable
good luck!!! email me any more questions, I know a bit about this stuff but havent got time to explain it all here sheedz_is_cool@yahoo.com.au
