I read a small 2 page experience this girl had (wrote about in an online diary) and I cried and cried.
If I change names and places, and only keep to the idea of her experience, plus add a lot more detail before hand, would this be legal for me to write a script and sell it? Or if someone has an experience do they own it?
I would like to keep the ending the same, because its so beautiful and sad at the same time which involves the passing of a phone charger, a certain song being played, and someone slowly dying. If that helps anyone answer.
