well windows movie maker is crap and it dosnt work any more on my computer, i dont know why, but i want something just like that cause i make AMVs for youtube. so what i need is where i can cut clips and put them in a “timeline” and then add music

best value for money is corel. the adobe family is wonderful if you can pop for the money they ask.
