For Christmas, I got the Pinnacle movie making program, only I’m 99% sure that you can’t make credits with it, I’ve read the whole manual, and looked at every button on the program. How is a free way to make movie credits, and not Videotagger, because I got that already and I can’t buy the whole thing, and I don’t really appreciate the free version. Can anyone tell me a way to make movie credits? Please and thank you!

I use Pinnacle Studio, and I think it’s the easiest way to make on-screen text.

Open the Titler by clicking the picture of the T. Create either your Title Overlay or your Full Screen Title. In the upper left corner there are buttons to create either still or crawl, etc. Search for “Rolling Title” in the Help Contents and you’ll find more examples.

I think only still text is available unless you have Plus or Ultimate. I have Plus and that has all the title effects.

As an alternative, Windows Movie Maker can be used for the scrolling titles. Once you’ve made your scrolling titles you can export a video file and import the file into Pinnacle Studio to add the credits to your project.
