Q&A: How come my windows movie maker makes my music longer?

Question by eddie: How come my windows movie maker makes my music longer?
When I add a music file to WMM it would lets say be 2:45 but when I add it, it makes the song about 5 minutes or 6 minutes. Im guessing it loops somewhere…how can I fix this?
It seemed to work this time but last time it didn’t
I had tried this method before but I had to make sure something wasn’t wrong.

Go into the timeline view, and drag the slider of the music portion down to the size you want.
