I’m making a movie for my senior project. I’ve started early because I’m only in 9th grade, but I had an idea for it. I’m going to make a movie and fun of Jason from Friday the 13th.
1. Would I actually NEED the permission to use Jason’s name and mask even though its just a school project and I wouldn’t be making ANY profit from it?
2. If so, how would i get permission to use it or find a way around it?

You contact the owner of the copywrite. Most will allow use for free for school projects.
