Question by Chelsea: how do i transfer my movie from the camcorder to the computer?
we have a movie on a Panasonic 700X Digital Camcorder and when i plug the camcorder into the computer it cannot read it, it takes forever and when it does it says it can’t read it. all i want to do i move some clips around && delete some parts..i need this project done by tomorrow too! pleasee help me and tell me what program i should use and how to make the computer read it.
my friends camera is a panasonica palmcorder. PV-DV102D

How did you attach it? You need to have it connected via a firewire cable. Once you have it connected with a firewire cable you need to capture the footage in an editing program like windows movie maker (included on all xp pc’s).You cant connect the camera by usb because it only works for photos.
