For a project.
Like, we are doing this thing in school about movie making, and i have to find the budget.
Our movie is based on the Blue Lagoon.
I know their budget was like 4.5 million, but how do you figure?
what goes in to all this?
Im talking like,
if i were to spend 4.5 on a movie where would it go?

Camera rental/purchase, use of sets, CG, accessories for sets, salaries of actors/actresses (unless they get paid based on revenue), etc. pretty much anything you’d expect to find in a movie budget.
