Q&A: how do you save a dvd [[home-made]] onto your computer?
Question by livelaughLIZ;♥: how do you save a dvd [[home-made]] onto your computer?
hey everyone 🙂
im going on a trip next week and my family would love it if i could bring along a dvd made up of a ton of family videos. they used to be cassetes/videos, then got turned into a couple of dvds, & now…the most convinient thing for me to do is to make it only one [or two] dvds. the only problem is i dont know what sofware to start from!!!!!! im currently using “magic dvd ripper” but it think its going to take forever, plus i dont know if it reaaaallllyyyy works. i put in one of the dvds into my computer & it started playing on windows media center. i tried saving it but found out that wasnt possible. i need to save it that was i can upload it into windows movie maker, but its so frieking hard!!! [i have windows vista, btw] sooooo, what other ripping software should i try?? im not paying even one PENNY for this at all. anyways, HELPPP!!! 😀

Magic DVD ripper does work, and it is very fast compared to other ones. I *cough*bought*cough* it off of a very *cough*reputable*cough* website. Just rip it to your computer, and then you should be able to import it into movie maker.
