Q&A: How to make a movie-trailers VCD or DVD?
Question by Reeves: How to make a movie-trailers VCD or DVD?
I downloaded many movie trailers. But enjoying them on my PC is not the best option. So, I want to make a movie-trailers disc to share it with everyone who does not keen on computer. Which software is the best to make it? Are there any diffrences between making a DVD and a VCD?

Programs such as Sony DVD Architect allow you to make almost professional looking DVD’s with menues. It can also be used to make a simple DVD, where you stick it in and it plays through all videos you put on it. DVD Architect cost about $ 50. I recommend this software.
For your second question, a DVD or “digital video disc” is a format which holds larger amounts of data. Anywhere from 2.8 gigabytes to 8 or even higher. Vidoes can be put on DVD’s in great quality.
A VCD or “video compact disc” is similar but only holds upards of about 800 megabytes. While movies can still be put on these at high qualities, the length can become limited. There is often trade offs between length and quality.
Note that most newer DVD players have the capability to play VCD’s, however not all can, consult the users manual.
