I’m the only Gay person in my school, and one of the only atheists. There is a large group of kids at school, I call them the “Jesus Drones,” who won’t stop bothering me. They don’t bully me at all, but they are always nagging me. They try to get me to go to their meetings. They’re very polite about it. One thing that they do that annoys me is that they put these little personal and emotionally deep letters in through the openings in my locker about how jesus loves me… and all that crap.
I’ve gone to the principal, but he started making slightly rude remarks about my beliefs and didn’t do anything about my situation. (His kid is one of the “Jesus Drones”)
I’m thinking about taking it up in the next chain of commands, as in go to the school board. I would go to the superintendent, but he’s a douche who butts heads with anyone in my town who isn’t a white christian who commutes to “Jesus Land” every Sunday… yes, I know he should be fired.
I don’t want to make a big deal of this, though. These people aren’t being rude about it at all. They’re being respectful. And I don’t want them to be in too much trouble. I like some of the people in it, and I feel they have the right to religion. To them, they feel they are doing good. I need advice. One time, some of my friends, who are jesus drones, convinced me to go to “Jesus Land” (church) to watch a move. They told me that it was just an ordinary movie, and that the jesus drones were just watching for fun. When I got there, it turns out it was he passion of the christ. I didn’t have a ride home at the time, so I decided to not fight it. So I was watching the movie, thinking to myself how much crap it is. Finally, when Mr. Jesus rose again, I thought to myself the word “bull crap” Then, everyone started looking at me angrily. It turns out that I accidentally said “bull crap” out loud.

@cuddle fox: That’s not helpful at all. My problem is that they’re not keeping their religion to themselves.
Okay, I’ve respectfully explained that I don’t believe in what they believe. The school board will more than likely do something about it, but I just want to know if there’s another way around it.
I don’t feel superior to them at all. I believe that everyone is equal.
Please, don’t feel that I hate them. There’s about 20 of them, and 5 of them are really close friends. The other ones are unbelievably annoying, but I don’t HATE them. I don’t hate anyone, no matter how annoying they are. Needless to say, the 5 of them who are my friends aren’t trying to convert me at all.
