Okay, i have a few questions, so PLEASE bare with me, i am trying to make a 3d movie with a few fight scenes, how can i make my fight scene like that of dragonball z, i have autodesk maya and 3ds max as well as motion builder, i also want cities crumbling and grounds shaking as well as buildings, (how and what do i use to make a city) i also have blender by the way. thanx sooo much, will give best answer. and please details would be nice, THANK YOU.

This is a complex question.

Cities are just meshes like anything else. If you don’t want to design a whole city, check out turbo squid. You can buy one for a reasonable price.

Buildings crumbling. You would use a particle generator. There are tons of tutorials on you tube for this.

Shaking ground would be simply making a shaking path for the camera.

Once you have your chacters loaded in 3ds max, you can apply the BIPED system (under systems) to give your character bones. Again you can find many tutorials on character animation on you tube.

The hard part is the motion of the characters. Unless you have access to a motion capture system it is unlikely you will get the smooth results of a 3D movie. You could get some results by loading free motion paths. Here is a website to download some free motion paths.
