OK now i had my ps3 for about 3 months now. For xmas i got a sanyo 26 inch LCD tv. Now for my ps3 i wanna watch blu ray movies and play my games in 720p i got all the cables to play it in 720p i switched the switch to hdtv on the cables. but the tv still looks the same???? how do i make sure its in 720p i would look at the manual but i throw it away (i didnt mean to) so please everyone help me out I WANNA PLAY IN 720P is there something i gotta go to on the ps3??? or what???

On your remote, for the tv, their should be a button called ”Display”. It should tell you the resolution. Also, if you use the RGB(Component) cables you won’t get good signal quality. Use “real” gold HDMI cables. No, they not £1,000,000. They about £5. Also, you “don’t” want to play in 720p. You want to play in 1080i/1080p. So there’s also a possibility that your tv is not Full HD compatible.
