Question by Lacey v: Question about making a movie in Windows Movie Maker?
I am trying to make a movie in the movie maker. I already added the pictures and transitions and now I want to add music. I bought a song from iTunes and tried that but it said The file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\The Beatles62-1966 [Disc 2]-09 In My Life.m4a is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker. I put in a CD that I had and imported it through iTunes and I still got that message. I don’t know what other kind of music I have to try. I clicked on Import audio or music in the movie maker and the import file window opens. I went to my music and clicked on iTunes then selected the artist I wanted and then the album name. The song that I wanted should have come up but nothing was there. On the bottom where it says Files of type it comes up as Audio and Music files (*.wav, *aif, *aiff, *aifc). No songs came up I had to choose All files (*.*) and then the song came up I double clicked on it and the above message came up. When I purchased a song from iTunes and tried to import it
the same way I got the same message. I’ve made movies using the movie make before and never had this problem. Any ideas anyone? I really want to make a movie and use music. Any help would be great

iTunes music used to contain DRM (Digital Rights Management), so if you bought it before they discontinued DRM recently that might be why it doesn’t work
