Q&A: Question about the This Is It movie?
Question by Halena: MJ,You’re Invincible: Question about the This Is It movie?
“It will be interesting to see what footage will be chosen to be in the film. I am as curious as you, because I asked for the cameras to be turned off when Michael was in a disoriented and sickly condition.”
“I can assure you it will be presented in the interest of those who will profit the most.”
“I am totally against this….I hope it can be stopped.”
“I think if THE JACKSON FAMILY wants to make a documentary in a year…or two, once we know the WHOLE story…then ok. This is being done too quickly for some reason I do not feel comfortable about.”
“I think it will be manipulated to glorify AEG, Kenny Ortega (who is the director of the film…and getting another huge paycheck)….MY FRIEND IS DEAD!!!! and you’re going to put his frail little body on screen…..!!!! I better go to the gym.”
“do you think it will show Kenny cutting up his chicken and holding him up when he walks down a ramp????
do you think it will show Michael covered in blankets because his body is frigid????”
“GUYS…Kenny knew how bad he was….
he was one of the people I was begging help from.”
“this movie makes me insane.”

I found this on an MJ chat forum thingamobber? Karen Faye is one of Michael’s most trusted workers and was his make-up artist for quite a long time.. Is it true?? The website isn’t giving a link to where it got this from, so I can’t be sure it’s credible?
I can’t believe it. D:

Sadly, this is true.Karen wrote this on her facebook! I know that after reading this many fans decided not to see This Is It.They dont want to see something that led to MJ death. There were many Europeans fans who were invited to the rehearsal but it was suppose to be a secret, and when they saw MJ they told Karen, that they were really worried about him, MJ didnt look healthy, and was not ready to perform. They wrote letters begging Kenny Ortega & AEG people to stop the This Is It tour and to help Michael. The fans gave the letters to Karen, who gave it to Kenny and AEG director. She used this letter to prove her point. They told Karen they were going to read it. Karen try so hard and beg them but they didnt listen to her. One fans gave a letter to MJ 2 days before he died, in this letter she wrote that she was really concerned about him. They also wrote a letter to Frank Dileo who is also reposible for MJ death. In this letter they expressed their concerned. Kenny & AEG are also resposible for MJ death. They knew he was not ready to perform but they only care about the money. Frank Dileo, Kenny, Conrad Murray, and AEG people are all responsible and they should all be punished for MJ death! I sadly believe that the vultures at AEG failed to take in to consideration the amount of stress they were putting on a sensitive soul, who couldn’t refuse his fans. It’s a bit disturbing that these fan’s letters went unanswered and even more shocking to find that these fans noticed MJ’s health weakening faster than Frank and others at AEG that claimed to be so close to him. It goes on to say that our beloved MJ was dying in the process of having to pay off a debt!
Here is the letter from the fan who saw MJ in the days leading up to his death. This letter is to Frank! It is kinda of long!
THIS HAS SOME UPSETTING STATEMENTS ABOUT MJ’S CONDITION AND WEIGHT. DO NOT READ IT IF THAT SORT OF THING UPSETS YOU!!!
Frank,
I know that you knew Michael was “troubled” (for lack of a better word that encompasses the entire situation.) His weight alone was disturbing evidence of this. You saw this and you knew and were very aware of it but are denying it. You will only continue to embarass yourself at this point if you keep insisting upon this exaggeration that Michael was healthy, eating, and excited to do the concerts.
Me and my friends spent many months with Michael, at least one of us saw and spoke to him almost every single day during the last year (not to mention the previous 15 years…) We saw him become continually more and more skinny in the past several months, sad and stressed almost to the point of tears in discussing the concerts, looking really down, very much not himself at times, apologizing for the way he looked (his weight), complaining of back pain, etc. Yes, of course there were also times when he was happy and enjoying himself and smiling and shopping and even excited at the thought of doing the concerts for his children and his fans and the message he wanted to share to the world. But predominantly he was troubled and it was OBVIOUS especially in the last couple months that he was INCREDIBLEY SKINNY to the point of needing someone to intervene. He was also missing rehearsals and there were too many times he was not feeling well.
In the last several weeks of Michael’s life it was so obvious it could not be ignored. We wondered how no one else was seeing what we were seeing, and was anyone doing anything about it? If we as fans could see it, it was for sure that those of you around him, working with him almost every day, could see it too. We had attempted to contact those around Michael that we felt might care enough to do something, but everyone was too obsessed with their own interests in “This Is It.”
I know that you were given some of our letters pleading for someone to intervene (by Karen Faye, who has said she was also concerned and used our letters to backup her own concerns) but you insisted everything was under control. Clearly everything was NOT under control, and you knew it as did Kenny Ortega, Randy Phillips, Travis Payne, Dr. Murray…there are many details we are aware, things that were done and said at rehearsals that prove you all knew Michael was in jeopardy, and we are NOT believing your lie saying Michael was healthy, eating, and excited to do the shows. Stop attempting to feed this lie any longer.
Despite AEG denying it the following day, Michael DID say he had gone to sleep expecting to do 10 shows, and woke up to 50 shows. You have denied this also on Larry King Live. But you weren’t there when he said it so you wouldn’t know. Michael DID say this though and he said other statements to us with the same sentiment such as not having enough break days between show days. HOWEVER whether he LITERALLY went to sleep with 10 shows and woke up to 50 shows IS NOT THE POINT. Whether he actually signed a contract to do 31 shows and subsequently agreed to do 50 shows IS NOT THE POINT…it is what was in his HEART to do, what he felt he COULD DO, what he was ACTUALLY CAPABLE of doing, not what he was basically (financially) FORCED to do…and THIS is what YOU and others should have CARED about for him as a human being and not a money machine. His life should not have been “re-financed” in a way that made it necessary for him to literally die paying it back.
So my question to you is this:
We decided to write letters to Michael himself which we gave him the night before he died expressing our deep and dire concerns for him. We wrote specifically that we were afraid for his life. WHY WERE WE AFRAID FOR HIS LIFE AND YOU WERE NOT? Why could we see it, but SUPPOSEDLY you, Kenny, Randy, and everyone in the “inner circle” who could have actually helped Michael was blind to his trouble/pain/stress/insomnia/malnourishment? This is what I want to know. Why the FACADE that everything was alright/under control? Why was the circus not stopped before it was too late? Why are you pretending you didn’t notice/didn’t know anything when it was NOT POSSIBLE TO NOT NOTICE.
Do you not even realize that you could have saved him if you had only tried…did you even ATTEMPT TO TRY???
At this point I would like you to simply ADMIT that you were actually aware that Michael was not really at a healthy weight, and not always in good spirits about the concerts. I would like an apology for the facade that is really only a slap in the face to his fans and Michael’s memory by mostly Randy Phillips, Kenny Ortega, and yourself.
Tell the truth already.
