I have a huuuge passion for acting and screenplay.. so far ive written 1 script and ive got 5 more in my head hehe (im 17 btw ) So basically some of the script ive written i would love to be able to act in myself either lead or supporting character.
So i’ve a few questions i would love if you could help me with.
1. When descibing character am i allowed to describe briefly what thei wearing for example short skirt, a suit , a dress and if its modest or very revealing or if their showing cleavage. Or even for guys if they topless or in a suit etc etc.
2. I live in England at the moment isit it possible for me to move to America LA or NY legally though.
3. How do i sell my script ?
4. Lastly how old was the youngest oscar winning screenwriter?

Narma,
1) You can describe costumes briefly if it’s important to the character or the scene.
2) Yes, you can legally move to the US! But I would caution you to wait until you’re older and can work to support yourself. LA and NY are expensive cities.
3) To sell your script, first it has to be PERFECT. Never stop revising. Then you need to get an agent, which is extremely hard. Usually you’ll need to know someone in the business, or win a competition.
4) I’m not sure on this one, but Diablo Cody, last year’s winner, was in her late 20’s I believe.
