i have to write an essay on the movie “life is beautiful” a the question asks how joshuas father makes events of the holocaust easier, and i knwo he makes the camp seem like a game but i dont know how to elaborate and the paper needs to be two pages..i only have a half a page

Well, the game is really the way he makes it easier. You can go into detail about what he did, like how he “translated” German for the members, how he created the point system, how he somehow got the Nazis to believe his son was German so he got to have a meal at the restaurant, and how he was walking to his death he “marched” like the Nazis.

You can also talk about what he did for his wife, like when he snuck into the room with the intercom and he and Joshua talked to her and how he played the song out the window.
