I am doing a graph of the 5 parts of curriculum. I must list examples of each.
Curriculum as the development of cognitive processes
·Play/learning centers (building blocks, reading, play-dough, etc.)
·Lectures (secondary education level)
·Reading to class
Curriculum as technology:
·Phonics software (elementary education)
·Labs & Research online (secondary education)
·Watch movies when related
Curriculum as self-actualization or consumatory experience
·Having consequences for choices made (negative & positive)
·Allowing feedback from students
·Field trips
Curriculum for social learning
·Being a positive role model to students (make positive choices & have positive attitude)
·Work students in groups
·Offer buddy system to match younger/older students together
