I’m taking a screenwriting class and we have to pick a moment in history to make a movie about. i’m not really a history buff so any ideas? Much appreciated.

The rise of the Shawnee Prophet and the Battle of Tippecanoe. You’d have Shawnee Indians in the midst of a massive religous revival including witch hunts. Then tension would mount and the Battle of Tippecanoe would take place. The Shawnee would be defeated, and the Prophet would lose his influence, but his brother Tecumseh would rocket to prominence in the aftermath. (That would leave the door open for a sequel about Tecumseh.)
