Q&A: what is there to learn in FILM for a degree?
Question by pens90: what is there to learn in FILM for a degree?
for those of you who have already pursued a degree(associates, bachelors, or higher) in film..could you tell me what the field is about and what you enjoy most and least about the field?
I think i’m interested in this. but i’m not sure and i don’t want to do something i’m not passionate in. i really don’t know what film is about besides the fact that it deals with movie making. LOL. and for me, that alone, sounds semi-interesting.

Go on any street in Hollywood, where you will find many “Film Studies” grads sleeping in cardboard boxes and scurrying around dumpsters looking for half-eaten burritos.
That is what it means to get a degree in Film Studies. Don’t be like these pathetic suckers.
