Okay, for a while with no education I have naively thought I can write scripts.
Now, I decided to ask an author to a book I absolutely love, if I could adapt it into script form and sell it on to be made into film and I showed her how I would have written the first scene so she had an idea of my capability.
She said i could do it, but my technique needs a bit of work. So I’ve asked my ex-girlfriend to help me cos she knows more about media than I do. Put it this way, my technique of writing a script… I can’t word how wrong it was.
Now, I’ve learned how to write the script properly and the author is happy about that, I’m just confused as to why originally, when I couldn’t write a script she gave me a chance. Any ideas?
I’m happy though cos I’m 18 and British without anything to my name in the film industry and this film will be American and from knowing this area of film, it attracts a lot of actresses just before they hit their big breaks. Not so many actors go for these though XD I’m really hoping I can direct it too but i’ll just complete the script first.
