Question by mtgcnv67: Why do people get so insulted when they can’t download a movie for free?
I can’t believe how many people I see posting questions on here asking “where can I download (*famous movie title here*) for free?” and saying “I got a virus when downloading (*famous movie title here*)”.
It serves them right! Why don’t they pay like the rest of us? Why do they steal movies? Is it “too expensive”? It’s people like them that are making movies and music to expensive in the first place.
It’s still wrong, but I would understand a person stealing food because they were poor…food is a necessity, but these are movies. The people stealing them were able to afford the few hundred dollars it cost for the computer they’re using…and they can’t afford $ 10 to see a movie or $ 15 for the DVD?
I’ll say it again Naps: “It’s people like them[/you] that are making movies and music to expensive in the first place.” If they didn’t have to spend so much money on security, then it would cut the cost for viewers.

It may just be my local theatres, but it definitely seems to me like the amount of cellphone usage has really gone down.
As for the blasting sound, I use ear plugs. They’re really cheap, and they do a great job of reducing the sound of the movie, and limiting what I hear to strictly the movie. I never hear people coughing, laughing, or talking when I’m in the theatre anymore. Sure, it makes it difficult when my husband whispers something to me, but it’s worth it, lol!

Don’t be salty we found loop holes in the system.
Whats salty is Retail charging us $ 20 for a Movie, and movie theaters charging $ 15 for a ticket and your first son for popcorn and a soda.
