Q&A: Windows Movie Maker to Youtube – there HAS to be a way, right?!?
Question by yamarotex07: Windows Movie Maker to Youtube – there HAS to be a way, right?!?
Alright, so we all know the video quality on WMM goes to hell when uploaded to Youtube. Fine. But is there seriously NO POSSIBLE WAY (I’ll do anything!) to preserve the glorious quality seen on WMM?!
Are there other free movie making programs that will yield a higher quality?
Are there any other sites of upload apart from Youtube that wouldn’t screw with the quality?!
SOMEBODY must know SOMETHING.
Please.

If you’re running Windows Vista or 7 you can use Windows Live Movie Maker which supports HD quality footage as well as uploading directly to YouTube. If you’re still using XP and Windows Movie Maker 2.1, ensure you’re exporting in the highest quality possible. Attached is a tutorial as well as a link for WLMM. Hope this helps!
