This question is aimed at teens (11-18 only please)

Would you watch a teen drama about the lives of 6 Yr 11 students (a cold-hearted brainiac, a rich plastic, an emo, a musician, a humorous fun-lover and a sickly sports fanatic) living in a working-class part of London?

I have a script that I am willing to sell, but I’m unsure whether or not people would watch it. The show would incorporate issues (i don’t mean issues in a bad way, I’m a teen myself) that occur in everyday teen life, such as friends, lovers, break-ups, make-ups, drink, drugs, school etc (but now I’m making it sound boring)

Btw, there is a point to the obvious stereotypes. They’re obviously not all that steroetypical, because they have connections with each other and that’s why they’re friends. The characters are supposed to seem stereotypical at first, because after a while they begin to break their conformities, and we get to see them in more depth. For example, the cold-hearted brainiacs turns out to have a heart, and her life is not strictly limited to nerdy things (as is seen when she goes to Vegas). Well, maybe that wasn’t the best example (I don’t want to give too much away), but there is a point to them.

But I’m going on too much now.

Also, if you think it sounds too similar to other shows, could you please name the shows. It’d be helpful.

Yes, I would, but you’d have to be careful that it’s not too familiar to other teen stores: Hollyoaks, Skins…..
