How to make an image have a transparent background. Image transparency, invisible background, image overlay. People call it many different things but in this video I will clearly show how to make an image have a transparent background using Adobe Photoshop. There are some tutorials showing how to do this that I have seen but they do not show how to do it clearly and never explain why you can’t see “Duplicate Layer.” It’s because your using an image that is not a JPEG, or compatible image. You have to first save the image as a different file type. Then you can proceed with making the background transparent! Be aware that there are multiple ways of making an image have a transparent background but I find that this way guarantees you the cleanest cut looking result without any missed dirty pixels lying around. So, when I want a quality transparent background without a chance of the image looking messy I use this technique. This is my first tutorial video.
