Is it Sony Vegas? Anyways, My Windows Movie Maker is malfunctioning and making AMVs Is my life right now. I was wondering what system Sony Vegas 7 was and if I could download it for Windows Xp. It also needs to be freeware if I do since I do not have any money as of the moment.
I need my codecs because the videos I use are AVI. I’ve submitted another question on this.

Sony Vega’s is for PC and it will work for Windows XP. It has a slight learning curve but does produce really good stuff when used right. It’s not freeware so you are out of luck on that, it does cost a bit to own too.

What exactly about Movie maker is malfunctioning for you? A helpful hint I tell everyone is to turn off the codecs. You can do this by:

Tools > Options > Compatability (Tab)

Simply uncheck all of them and try editing your movie again. Hope it helps.
