Video Editing on Ubuntu 10.04

How I edit videos for youtube on Ubuntu 10.04. I use a nice application called openshot video editor. The UI and usage is very similar to the original iMovie application (which I liked a very much). This might not be the best tool if you are an aspiring feature length movie maker, but it works well for editing and exporting simple videos.

NEW EDIT: To all who wants to know how to include drivers use a program rt7lite from rt7lite.com this will let you slip stream drives and programs and almost anything else. 1.) Insert your Windows 7 DVD and boot from it. When the first screen appears asking you for language and keyboard press “Shift + F10”. This will bring up the command prompt we need. 2.) Type “diskpart” to open the Disk Partition utility. Type “list disk” to view the disks in the computer. Type “select disk 0” this is the primary disk. Type “list partition” this will show you any partitions on that disk. If there is any partitions on that disk we need to delete them. You will not be prompted with any confirm dialogues as it is assumed you are using this with knowledge about this program. Type in “select partition (#)” repeat this step until all partitions are gone. Example “select partition 0”. We are going to create the Recovery Partition and the System Partition. Type “create partition primary size=4096” this is the Recovery Partition. Type “create partition primary” you don’t need the size argument as it will just use the rest of the drive. This is also were windows 7 will be stored. We are now going to assign and format the disks and drives. Type “list volume” this will show all the DVD-roms and Disk Drives connect to this computer. Type “select volume (#)” enter the volume number where the DVD-rom is. Example “select volume 0”. Type “assign letter=E” it could be any letter but for this we will use
