Question by New York City vs. Chicago: What are some decent DVD ripping softwares for PC or Mac? And, good moviemaking software?
I want a software where I can rip a DVD to the hard drive of my computer, Mac or PC. Preferably one I install with a CD and not online. ALSO, I need a movie-making software where you can use any clip from a movie you want and make a video of it with other special effects (IS THIS POSSIBLE ON iMOVIE?). I’d also like this one to be installed with a CD. Whenever I shop for this stuff online or ask around, I get rip-offs or cheap stuff.

‘Format Factory’ and ‘Windows Movie Maker 2011’. They’re free and can be searched using google or yahoo.
